Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 2026
Simply Foot Care is committed to making our website accessible to all users, including older adults, people with visual impairments, and those who rely on assistive technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA where practicable.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure (one main H1 per page)
- Sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds
- Readable font sizes and comfortable line spacing for longer content
- Keyboard navigation support with visible focus indicators
- “Skip to main content” link at the top of each page
- Form fields with visible labels and accessible error messages
- Large tap targets on mobile for booking, contact, and WhatsApp actions
- Alternative text on meaningful images; decorative elements marked appropriately
- Cookie and analytics tools loaded only with consent to reduce unnecessary scripts
Booking and contact
You can book online, call us on 07700 900 000, email hello@simplyfoot.co, or message us on WhatsApp. If online booking is difficult, we are happy to arrange appointments by phone or message.
Known limitations
We are working to improve the following areas:
- Some third-party embeds (e.g. Google Maps, review widgets) may not fully meet WCAG standards — we provide alternative contact details where maps are not essential
- Gallery before/after images will include descriptive alt text as real photos are published
- PDF documents, if added in future, may not always be fully accessible — contact us for an alternative format
Technical specifications
This website relies on HTML, CSS, and limited JavaScript (React islands for booking, cookie consent, and analytics). It is designed to work with current versions of major browsers and common screen readers.
Feedback and enforcement
If you experience accessibility barriers on our site, please tell us via our contact page or email hello@simplyfoot.co. We will try to respond within 5 working days and resolve issues where possible.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Equality Advisory Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com .
Assessment approach
We assess accessibility through automated checks, manual keyboard testing, and mobile responsive review before major releases. This statement will be updated as we make improvements.
